Beautiful Elephant Garlic cloves, except that their shells are split or missing, exposing their garlic flesh to light. This causes the flesh to green through photosynthesis, but does nothing to the flavour. These cloves are still as good to eat as the day they were harvested - juice, fresh and full flavoured garlic. They are suitable for all cooking requiring some additional zing and the exotic garlic flavour. They would be ideal for pickling, flavoring honey, or making a dip, quite apart from the traditional uses.
